|Customer Reviews for the YRC-3X.|

|I own the DCU-1 on a T2X turning a big quad and the Yaesu G-2800DXA turning the HyGain Xmas Tree. The DCU-1 is same as new DCU-3 (dont know why)in function.|
I love my HyGain programmable controller and am tempted to get the YRC-3x for my Yaesu... reason is superb ease of use. These are superior to the standard control boxes of both mfg, and even the Blue Heron. All other boxes require turning a knob or pushing the rotate buttons to get to a heading. The standard Yaesu is particularly bad in a very imprecise "preset" knob (which requires guessing and re-setting).
Much better to have six genuine pre-set buttons that require no thought, just a press and the bearing is already ready. This is better than the use of a computer (mouse radio is not ham radio) or the rotor control built into the high end Yaesu radios like the FT-9000d.
My HyGain gives me instant "no thought" access to EU, AF, JA, VK, NA and one chosen long path. These cover the world for me (stop at South, btw).
If you want tops ease of use, these controllers are best.
