|This antenna was pretty easy to assemble and the instructions were very easy to follow. The only down side was tuning. 20-80 meter bands took a lot of trimming of the horizontal spokes for each band to get the bands to resonate in the middle of the bands.|
A chart indicates how many KHZ each inch trimmed would raise the resonating frequency and that made tuning a ton easier but being a vertical, it had to be laid down for each adjustment which was a major pain but that is the only battle with vertical antenna's.
The antenna's performance is just ok, not great but it is only 1/4 wave, not a lot of gain.
Space was my largest obstacle and this antenna fit my specifications for location and appearance. Keeping my neighbors happy was a big concern. I would rate the appearance a 9 of 10 and performance a 4 of 10.
